मावली माता

बस्तर के रहने वालों ने मुझे बहुत सम्मान दिया है। मेरी गुड़ी पर हर साल तीन जात्राएँ निकालते हैं, जो चैत, माघ और भांदव जात्रा कही जाती है। इन्हीं अवसरों पर मड़ई भी आयोजित करते हैं। मेरे आस-पास के गांवों की सभी देवियाँ इस अवसर पर आकर एक-दूसरे से भेंट-मुलाकात करती हैं। अपने को नई शक्ति से भरती हैं, जिससे लोक कल्याण के काम में सरलता हो सके।

People of Bastar have given me a lot of respect. Every three years jaatra processions are carried out from my gudi during the months of chaitra, magha and bhadon. 'Madaii' also is organized during these jaatras. The goddesses of the surrounding areas meet each other during this occasion. They rejuvenate themselves with new energy, which is helpful for the welfare of the whole society.
