Gutti Pujai

In Gond & Baiga communities this ritual of gutti pujai is done every three years, its main objective is that the departed soul gets merged with the ancestors. From the day of death tying the swivel and chanting the name of the deceased begins in which grain, clothes & money is kept in the memory of the deceased. The pot is buried under any tree while taking the name of the deceased. The whole process of the ritual is Gutti pujai. It is carved here in a story form.
