धरती को जगाने की कहानी

इस धरती पर सबकुछ था पर नाद नहीं था। जिस कारण सबकुछ सूना-सूना लगता था। एक दिन महादेव को लगा कि यह सूनी धरती बिलकुल भी अच्छी नहीं लगती। उन्होंने सुतार को सागौन के पेड़ के तनों और शाखाओं से बाजा बनाने का गुण सिखाया। सुतार के वैसा करने से बहुत तरह के बाजे बने और तभी से इस धरती का सूनापन समाप्त हो गया और सभी नाच-गान की शुरुआत हुई।
