मनुष्य के पैदा होने की कहानी

बहुत पुरानी बात है। धरती में उलट-पलट हुई, चारों तरफ पानी ही पानी हो गया। इस प्रलय से केवल एक भाई-बहन किसी तरह सुरक्षित बच पाये, पर उनके लिये खाने को कुछ न था। वे भूख से तड़प रहे थे। इस बीच उन्हें एक बड़ी मछली दिखाई दी, पर उन्होंने उसको मारकर खाने के बजाय अपने अकेलेपन में उसे सहयोगी के रूप में देखा। भूख ज्यादा दिन तक बर्दाश्त नहीं की जा सकती थी। वे सबकुछ भूल गये थे। भगवान को दया आई, उन्होंने उनके खाने के लिये अन्न की व्यवस्था की। पानी भी धीरे-धीरे उतर गया था। वे यह भूल ही गए थे कि वे भाई-बहन हैं। उन्हीं के सम्पर्क से धरती पर मानव संतानें आयीं।

Long ago when earth was turned upside down and there was just water everywhere. Only a pair of brother and sister could survive this holocaust, but they had nothing to eat and were starving. Meanwhile they saw a big fish, but Instead of killing it, they saw it as an ally in their loneliness. Hunger could not be prolonged, they forgot everything. Then god showed mercy upon them and food grain was made available for them to eat. Later all the water slowly receded. They had forgotten that they were siblings, and then came the human offspring’s to the earth because of their union.
