PITTHU
Seven or more small size stone slabs or round shaped pieces of tiles are placed on each other. It gives an impression of a tiny pillar. This tiny pillar is pulled down by hitting a ball. The ball goes away and other players run fast to collect it. Till the ball is thrown back, the player who pulled down the pillar has to rebuild it by rearranging the strewn pieces. The game is called Pitthu. This game is played in villages and even small urban areas. We find presence of the same game in many countries with different names like Sitolia, Pittu, Nim-Nim Nimborcha. When a player completes rearranging the pieces he declares it by shouting Pithhu.
