हमारा गाँव की सीमा पर होना, इस बात की गवाही है कि मेरी पीढ़ी के लोग अब वहाँ नहीं रहे। ऐसे में हमारी पीढ़ी के लोगों का दायित्व अधिक बढ़ जाता है। गाँव में कोई विपदा प्रवेश न कर पाये, इसकी रक्षा का दायित्व हम लोगों के पास है। हम लोग इस पीड़ी खूंट में रहकर अपने परिजनों की सुरक्षा हमेशा करते रहते हैं। और हां, वे हमें ऐसा करते देखकर इस बात के लिये प्रेरित भी होते रहते हैं कि आने वाले समय में उन्हें भी अपने वंशबेल की रक्षा इसी तरह से करनी है।
